each year for landowners, agencies and other groups interested in what the Blackfoot Challenge partnership is doing to protect the natural resources and rural lifestyle of the Blackfoot watershed. Topics are as diverse as our programs including conservation strategies, integrated weed management, stream and wetland restoration, water quality, drought management, wildlife management, and community-based collaborative resource stewardship.
The Annual Blackfoot Landowner Tour is a key event that is co-hosted by the Blackfoot Challenge and the Big Blackfoot Chapter of Trout Unlimited. The summer tour is offered to landowners to familiarize them with recent activities in conservation and restoration work in the Blackfoot. For more information, see the 2005 Landowner Tour Summary.
The Challenge has also developed a list of sites that are appropriate for self-guided tours. For more information, please check out our Outdoor Learning Sites.
