In 2005, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks, working with a committee of interested organizations and individuals, drafted an implementation and evaluation plan to guide restoration efforts for trumpeter swans in the Blackfoot Valley of Montana.
