Caring for the Land
Stewardship starts at home. Whether you are new to land ownership or managing land passed down through generations, stewardship can be complex and always evolving. Working together across fencelines, Blackfoot landowners ensure landscape resilience from river bottoms to mountain tops. The resources below are by no means comprehensive — but offer a starting place for landowners with land and water management questions. We also invite you to reach out to Blackfoot Challenge staff for individualized technical assistance with grazing, soils, forestry, water, wildlife, weeds and other concerns.
